+ Is Nebedai cruelty-free?
Yes, all our products are cruelty-free. They are also vegan, gluten-free, synthetic fragrance-free and free from any other arch chemicals. We try to limit the amount of different ingredients in a product as our priority is the efficacy of our formulations for our happy customers :)
+ Where do you manufacture your products?
All our products are made in Senegal. By manufacturing in Senegal we ensure the quality and diversity of our ingredients. Also, we have the vision and ambition to make the 'made in Africa' label mainstream and synonym of quality worldwide.
+ I didn't receive an order confirmation email and/or my tracking number, is something wrong?
First check your SPAM. If you cannot find the email then email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. For repeat customers we advise you to add our email address, email@example.com, to your contacts list. This will prevent it from going to SPAM.
+ How can I track the status of my order?
Once we dispatch your order, we will send you an email with a link to track your parcel. When the delivery is completed, you will receive an email confirming successful delivery. If at anytime you have an issue with your order, reply to the emails we sent or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
+ Where do you ship your products from?
Our products are shipped from Senegal and some products from a partner's facility in France (for European customers only). In the future, we plan to have a third facility in the U.S. to reduce the cost of shipment for American customers. For more information about shipment visit our shipping information page.
+ How long does it take to get my order?
We aim to dispatch your order within 48 hours, working days only (we don't ship during weekends or holidays), from the moment you place an order on our website. This means that for example if you place an order on Friday, we will dispatch your order by Tuesday next week. You can pay using your debit/credit card; We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro. You can also pay via Paypal, Shopify, Apple and Google Pay.
+ What does Nebedai mean?
Nebedai means "Never Die" in wolof (a language of Senegal). It is pronounced 'Nay-Bay-Die'.
+ How is Nebedai different from other skincare brand?
Nebedai develops each new range around one core ingredient not yet widely known or used in skincare. The core ingredient we choose for each range is found in Africa. By doing this, we can work around the properties of the core ingredient and use all its benefits. We think nature knows it best and there are so many secrets we have yet to discover. Therefore our approach is: how can nature inspire innovation and not the contrary.
